Fly into History
During World War II, thousands of B-17 “Flying Fortress” bombers were built. Today, few more than a handful can still take to the skies. Come experience true living history as the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) brings its B-17G bomber nicknamed “Aluminum Overcast” to the Manassas Regional Airport from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1. Buy a ride or take a ground tour of the plane, and while you’re at it, take a tour of our museum located in the main terminal.
Did you discover artifacts from past wars in your attic? Don’t know what to do with them? Donate them to the museum to share with future generations.Donate Artifacts →
